Psychology individual sessions

Adults (+18)
​
My sessions aim to offer you a safe space where you can feel supported as you navigate through life’s challenges. Together, we will empower you to take control of your issue by: exploring your thoughts, feelings, emotions; using different psycho-educational materials, clarifying your goals. Specifically, you can get my support in the life areas listed below. The individual sessions usually last between 6 to 10 weeks but we will go at a pace that feels right for you. As a warm welcome, your first individual session comes with a discount. ​​​​

Addressing life happiness by reducing stress/anxiety and tackling low mood
​
Stress and/or anxious thoughts can feel overwhelming. You may feel trapped in a cycle of worry, fear, and low mood which can impact your overall sense of life satisfaction. This is where I come in by offering you support in managing those feelings. We will work together to: understand the root causes of your distress, reframe your negative thought patterns, gain confidence in facing your challenges in a calmer mindset.

Improving your social or romantic relationships

Healthy relationships that fulfill you and bring out the best qualities in you and others are hard to form or to maintain. Yet, there might be the key to your overall well-being and happiness. During the relationship coaching sessions we will ensure that you know your own priorities, expectation and the type of relationship you are aiming to form or maintain. We will practice through psycho-educational materials: assertiveness, positive communication and other skills needed in building or maintaining a trustful and respectful relationship.

Supporting you through grief/bereavement
One of life’s most profound challenges is to lose a loved one. There is no a "normal" or "standard" way to grief. It is an individual process. I am here to: listen to you and support you through the intensity of your loss; explore your grief and the impact on your life and find together a way to cope, heal and regain peace. ​​
Guiding you through career choice and/or work-life balance

Our work/career occupies a huge portion of our week. If you are wondering about your career choice or how to achieve a work-life balance, I am here to support you. I can help you with: finding your interests, talents and matching them with the right career, creating a strategic plan for achieving your goals, knowing your strengths and areas for further development, setting up your clear priorities and your schedule in order to have work-life balance. ​

Children/young people (3 to 18 years)
I offer engaging individual workshops for young minds. They include games, crafts and interactive activities to support socio-emotional development, concentration and are adapted to the child's interests, strengths and areas for improvement.
Each session lasts 1 to 2 hours and could have the following topics:

Rules: exploring the importance of rules through stories, games, and role play to help children learn about fairness

Emotions/feelings/behaviour: helping children to understand, recognise and express their emotions/feelings/ and the way they are connected to their behaviour

Happy Brain: discussion of basic brain science to nurture self-awareness

Mindful Breathing: teaching calming techniques through activities that are age appropriate

Psychometric testing: work related abilities
(Age suitability: 16 to 99)
I offer two psychometric tests designed to quantify your self-perceptions. They help you to articulate things that you already know about yourself but cannot easily express. Unlike free online tests which may be misleading due to their lack of quality these assessments are evidence-based, validated, and reliable. Both of the tests have no limit which allows you to complete them at your own pace.
Emotional intelligence (EIP3) test
EIP3 assesses the aspects of personality related to personal and interpersonal emotional intelligence at work. In this test the personal intelligence refers to the ability of the person to be aware and in control of their emotions and/or feelings. Interpersonal intelligence refers to the ability to form and maintain healthy relationships that are based on trust and respect.
16pf personality test
16pf measures allows you to understand your strengths and areas for further development in relation to your current job or a dream career path. It tests the extend to which you exhibit 16 primary personality factors categorised into five global personality scales. An example of a primary personality factor is altruism which corresponds to the global scale of agreeableness.
For both tests the price of the testing includes: 1) meeting with you to introduce and administrate the test (1 hour), 2) analysis of your results in my office time (2 hours), 3) meeting with you to discuss your results (1 hour). You book via this this online platform for the first meeting and then we schedule together the second meeting.
